<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct pitch variation through a waveform editing device while maintaining trends of the pitch variation that sampled original waveform data have to some extent. <P>SOLUTION: The waveform editing device generates a correction curve for correcting the pitch variation extracted from the original waveform data based upon the pitch variation and graphically displays the correction curve 24 at a waveform display part 20 on a display screen 15. The display screen 15 has editing functions (33 and 36 in Fig.) of scaling the correction curve 24 and/or performing low-pass filter processing. The editing functions are executed based upon control values (43 and 46 in Fig.) that an operator sets. Waveform data after pitch correction based upon the edited correction curve 24 can be stored according to a storage instruction (38 in Fig.).
