<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bulbs protection cover which is low in cost, safe, easy to be attached and detached, highly versatile, easy to secure a certain degree of waterproofness, and can add a mechanism of insect proof or the like by only putting on the normal electric bulbs. <P>SOLUTION: The electric bulbs protection cover is to put on the electric bulbs and covers the glass tube, and is constituted of a plastic cover body and a band member arranged on an opening. The cover body has a tubular shape with one side closed and has an inner face nearly equal to the base of the electric bulbs or the outline of a bulb installation part of a lighting apparatus, and has a size large enough not to contact with the glass tube.
