<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ordering electronic menu device preventing the excessive order of free order items peacefully by receiving orders only for the suitable number corresponding to the number of people in each group at suitable time intervals. <P>SOLUTION: The self-ordering electronic menu device comprises a menu database for collecting item information of food and drink corresponding to item IDs; a display means for displaying images by the control of a control means; an operation input means capable of receiving operation input by users; a communication means capable of transmitting order information by communicating with a POS system by the control of the control means; a free order management table for storing the item IDs and maximum numbers of free order items correspondingly; and a control means. The control means displays item information of the menu database according to the operation input to receive order input, and receives the order number of the free order item with the maximum number corresponding to the item IDs as an upper limit when there is the order input of the free order item. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
