<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image display similar to that of full colors only by using two sorts of LEDs without using LEDs of three primary colors. <P>SOLUTION: One pixel is formed by a pair of two-color LEDs constituted so that a red LED 11 and a blue-green LED 12 are arranged adjacently in an oblique direction so as not to be superposed in a horizontal direction, respective pixels are arrayed in a matrix to form a vertical display screen and the light-emitting gradation of the blue-green LED 12 is set twice as large as the light emitting gradation of the red LED 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
