<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type heat pump water heater of high installing performance, capable of saving a space for a hot water storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump water heater having the hot water storage tank, a structure 23 for keeping pressure balance is disposed inside of the hot water storage tank 21, the horizontal cross-sectional shape of the hot water storage tank 21 has an angular portion at least at one place to effectively utilize a dead space such as an angular portion inside of the housing of the heat pump water heater, which miniaturizes the hot water storage tank, and provides the hot water storage type heat pump water heater of high installing performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
