PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device for which the processing of writing a program for an inspection and a product program in an internal storage device when the inspection is automated. SOLUTION: On the basis of the instruction of a basic program stored beforehand in a flash ROM 12, a CPU 11 checks an optical disk inserted to an optical disk driving part 14 and the fixed disk of an HDD 15 at all times. When detecting an inspection program, data for the inspection and the product program from the optical disk, the CPU 11 transfers the data to the fixed disk of the HDD 15. When detecting the inspection program from the fixed disk, the CPU 11 transfers it to a RAM 13 and performs it. When the inspection is normally ended, the CPU 11 deletes the inspection program and the data for the inspection written in the fixed disk and writes the product program to the flash ROM 12.
