PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency by decreasing operation in which an operation input screen is used even if it is a DVD reproducing device which can reproduce a DVD in which the standard is different. SOLUTION: The DVD reproducing device is provided with a reading part reading individually optical recording media in which the standard is different, an input part to which various indication is input, a reproducing part making reproduced data based on data in the optical recording media, an output part outputting reproducing data prepared in a reproducing part in an external device, and a control part recognizing the standard of the optical recording medium, controlling the reproducing part so that reproduction is performed based on various indication input to the input part. When operation contents corresponding to the standard of the optical recording medium being reproduced is one operation contents, the control part controls the reproducing part so that the indication from the input part is reflected directly to reproducing data as operation of one item, on the other hand, the control part controls the reproducing part so that an operation input screen in which many items in the other operation contents can be selected is displayed, and changes reproduced data.
