PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a TAC film suppressing an axial angle variation by suppressing an elongation of an endless chain. SOLUTION: A dope is prepared by the TAC and solution. The dope is cast on a cast band from the cast die to form a cast film. The cast film is peeled as a wet film 74. The wet film 74 is fed in a tenter type dryer 35 and stretched to be 1.1 to 1.4 times larger. PTFE based dry bearings are used for joint parts of respective links of an endless chains 103, 104. The elongations of the endless chains 103, 104 due to abrasion are suppressed even the use for a long period of one year or so. The axial angle variation of the film 82 obtained by the suppression of the elongation of the endless chain is within±0.5°/1,000 m, and the film excellent in an optical characteristic is obtained.
