PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communications equipment capable of reducing the risk that an outsider browses stored documents in unauthorized manner which can be referred to via a network by a URL. SOLUTION: The communication equipment comprises a first control means for setting a disclosure object document among the stored documents stored in a document storage means so as to be referred to via the network by URL information, preparing a URL information notifying document, which is a document including the URL information as contents and transmitting it to opposite-party equipment; and a second control means for comparing a password, stored corresponding to the disclosure object document specified by the notified URL information with a password notified in access via the network in the access, establishing that password authentication has been successful, only when they match and transmitting the disclosure object document to access the accessing equipment.
