PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph printing apparatus that uses up printing paper as much as possible. SOLUTION: The photograph printing apparatus includes: a print request management section 37 that creates print requests linking photographic frame images and print sizes, queues the print requests and manages the print requests; a print output section 1B that uses printing paper P drawn from a printing paper magazine 11 and produces a photographic print of a predetermined length on which a predetermined photographic frame image is formed based on the print request; a remaining sheet quantity estimating section 38 that estimates the remaining length of printing paper from the nominal length of an unused photographic paper P stored in a sheet magazine 11 and the length used for printing. If the remaining sheet quantity estimating section 38 estimates that the remaining length is equal to or shorter than a predetermined value, a print request for producing a photographic print of the shortest print length is preferentially given to a print output section 1B.
