PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively correct degradation in scanning line deflection and wave front aberration in an optical scanner of an oblique incidence system suitable for low cost, low power consumption and downsizing. SOLUTION: In the optical scanner which scans respective different bodies 7 to be scanned by condensing light beams L with a first scanning lens (L1) 4 and a second scanning lens (L2) 5 after deflecting the light beams L emitted from a plurality of light source devices with a common optical deflector 3, all the light beams L are angled in a subscanning direction to the normal of a reflection surface of the light deflector 3, and the incident face side of the first scanning lens (L1) 4 is an optical face composed of a face whose curvature in the subscanning direction varies according to a main scanning direction and negative deflection power becomes larger towards the peripheral part of the face in the main scanning direction.
