PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting three-degree-of-freedom rotation capable of detecting rotational angles in a three-degree-of-freedom direction, without affecting the arrangement of sensors for detecting magnetic fields. SOLUTION: The device is so constituted as to detect magnetic fields with a rotational body 10 provided with magnets 20A, 20B for applying a magnetic field having asymmetry concerning three-degree-of-freedom rotation, and a plurality of magnetoelectric conversion elements 40A-40D separated from the rotational body 10 and being in a predetermined positional relation, and to determine rotational angles in the three-degree-of-freedom direction of the rotational body 10 with respect to the conversion elements 40A-40D from the detected magnetic fields. As a result, a three-degree-of-freedom rotation of an object to be detected performing three-degree-of-freedom rotation with respect to the megnetoelectric conversion elements can be specified uniquely without touching.
