PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a sudden change in acceleration-deceleration, when a vehicle speed sensor 4 causes failure, in a driving force control device of a vehicle for correcting a flat road traveling time feedback output value F/B_heitan for controlling driving force cTDR of the vehicle by a correction quantity F/B_hosei corresponding to a road gradient, by making a feedback process. SOLUTION: When the vehicle speed sensor causes failure, driving force is controlled by output of gradually reducing a gradient correction quantity from an initial value after the failure is caused, with an output value composed of the sum total of the flat road feedback output value F/B_heitan and its gradient correction quantity F/B_hosei as the initial value F/B_FAIL.
