PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure, and to reduce weight and cost in a pump. SOLUTION: While connecting a suction casing 16 to a lower end part of a body casing 11 forming a cylindrical shape, a delivery pipe 23 is connected to an upper end part via a bending pipe 21. A main shaft 28 is drivably rotatably supported by penetrating through a central part of the body casing 11, and is constituted by installing an impeller 33 in a tip part of this main shaft 28. The suction casing 16 is formed of a suction liner 18 and a suction bell 19. Ring members 41 to 45 are manufactured by joining long size sheet metal in a hollow truncated cone shape by welding. The suction bell 19 is manufactured by joining a plurality of ring members 41 to 45 forming this hollow truncated cone shape in a bell-mouth shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
