PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire effectively suppressing pulling-out of a carcass ply from a clipping beat portion structure, and improving the durability of a bead portion. SOLUTION: The tire 1 is provided with a pair of the bead portions 2, the carcass ply 6 rubber-coating a ply cord 5 and extending between the pair of the bead portions 2 in a toroid shape, and a pair of bead cores 7a, 7b clipping the carcass ply 6. The ply cord 5 successively reciprocates between both bead portions 2 at predetermined circumferential pitch P, and forme a loop portion 8 at an inner end in a tire diameter direction.
