PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mahjong ball game machine allowing a player to automatically execute the tile discarding process if the taken tile is an unnecessary one for the player. SOLUTION: The mahjong ball game machine comprises a taken tile candidate specifying means for previously specifying a symbol of a tile the player wants to take by an interactive method with a display means before the player executes the tile taking operation, and an automatic taken tile discarding means. The automatic taken tile discarding means executes the process to treat the symbol of the tile taken by the tile taking operation as the tile to be discarded if the symbol corresponding to a winning hole which a game ball enters based on the tile taking operation specifying the symbol of the tile the player wants to take is not included in the symbols of tiles to be taken which are previously specified by the taken tile candidate specifying means.
