<p>A method and device to page a mobile station in mobile telecommunication system are disclosed. The mobile telecommunication network sends a paging message to inform a user terminal which is detecting paging message that a call is arriving. The network sends the paging message with a same content to the user terminal in different sectors or cells of a same area in a same manner. In this manner, the paging channels in different sectors or cells of a same area would be soft united, which may improve the performance of paging channels, and receiving Signal-to-Noise of paging channels, and thus paging performance of system can be improved.</p> |
