A plasma display panel device is provided to improve durability of a switch element by reducing a voltage applied to both ends of a scan switch during a set-up period. A plasma display panel device includes a scan switch. The scan switch applies a scan bias signal to a panel capacitor(Cp) in an address period. The scan switch is connected with a node 1 on a resonant current path toward the panel capacitor in order to apply the scan bias signal. A set-up switch is connected with the node 1 in order to apply a set-up signal to the panel capacitor in a reset period. A first path blocking element is connected between a sustain driver and the first node in order to apply the set-up signal through the node 1 to the panel capacitor in the reset period. |
