<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of displaying message information without overlapping with the face image of a person, and to provide an image transmission system and an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: A reception-side base station 140 is used as an image processing device for superimposing message information to an input image including the face image for an output. The reception-side base station 140 comprises: a feature point extractor 142 for extracting the feature point of a face from the face image; a superimposition prohibition region calculator 144 for calculating a superimposition prohibition region for prohibiting the superimposition of the message information in the input image based on the feature point extracted by the feature point extractor 142; a superimposition region calculator 146 for calculating a message information superimposition region where the message information can be superimposed on the input image in the entire region of the input image except the superimposition prohibition region; and a message information superimposition section 148 for superimposing the message information on one portion or entire portion of the message information superimposition region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
