<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system and a data collection method whereby sensing can be executed over a long time at low power consumption in a closed space such as an underground passage. <P>SOLUTION: The data collection system includes: a plurality of radio sensor nodes 1,...,N each including a sensor section 11 and a sensor radio communication section 12 for radio-communicating measurement data obtained by the sensor section 11; and a master unit 20 including a master unit radio communication section 21 for receiving the transmitted measured data, the radio sensor node 1 at a start point includes a function for transmitting transmission data including the measurement data obtained by its own sensor section 11, an address of the master unit 20, and an address of the radio sensor node 2, and each of the radio sensor nodes 2,...,N has a function of adding the measured data obtained in its own sensor section 11 to the transmission data when the received transmission data include its own address and transmitting transmission data including addresses of the other radio sensor nodes 3,...,N closer to the master unit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
