<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which can smoothly roll rollers. <P>SOLUTION: A roller bearing comprises: an outer ring; an inner ring; a plurality of rollers disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring; a plurality of column parts 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d extended in a direction along an axis so as to form pockets retaining the rollers; connecting parts 15a, 15b circumferentially extended to connect the plurality of column parts 14a to 14d; and a plurality of retainer segments 11a sequentially and continuously disposed in a circumferential direction between the outer ring and the inner ring.
