REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MEDIUM, REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING LABEL, REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MEMBER, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IMAGE PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium excellent in the heat-resistant shelf stability of a colored image and the repetition durability of the image, a reversible thermal recording label using the medium, a reversible thermal recording member and an apparatus and a method for image processing.

SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium has at least a thermal recording layer on a substrate and the thermal recording layer contains at least an electron-donating color developing compound and an electron-accepting compound. The electron-accepting compound is expressed by structural formula (1), while the electron-donating color developing compound is at least one kind selected from among 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-(N-ethyl-N-3-ethyloxypropyl)aminofluoran, 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-dipentylaminofluoran, 2-(3-toluidiluno)-3-methyl-6-dimethylaminofluoran and 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-(N-ethyl-N-pentyl)aminofluoran.
