<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percutaneous absorption type antihypnotic composition having higher safety and containing a plant essential oil as an active ingredient, to provide a pharmaceutical formulation, and to provide methods for producing the composition and formulation. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet-like antihypnotic composition is produced by covering a water-absorptive resin with neroli oil to obtain an essential oil-covered resin, covering the essential oil-covered resin with an essential oil desorption regulator carbon fine particles to obtain carbon-covered particles, mixing with an absorption promotor, a heat conduction preventive and the like, and hot forming the obtained.
