The cogeneration unit 10 has an electric heat generating device 11 generating electric power and heat, a heat exchanger 12 collecting the heat generated by the electric heat generating device 11, and an operation control portion 13 controlling an operation of the electric heat generating device 11. The operation control portion 13 calculates a predicted value by making a weighting coefficient to used power energy and used heat quantity of one day before and seven days before, be heavier than a weighting coefficient to used power energy and used heat quantity of the other day, on the basis of the used power energy and the used heat quantity in a prescribed time zone from one day before to seven day before of a predicted day accumulated in advance, and controls the power energy and heat generated by the electric heat generating device 11 on the basis of the predicted value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
