<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage authority to use shared resources while maintaining firmness of security as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In this shared resource management system, an authority management server 1 for managing shared resources shared by a plurality of users is provided with a temporary authorization request receiving section 102 receiving a request to give authority to use the shared resources to a proxy user who temporarily uses the shared resources instead of the user who usually uses the shared resources, and a temporary authorization processing section 103 processing to store temporary use authority information DTC which is information showing that the proxy user is authorized only for a predetermined period, into a storage section 101 for authority information and the like, based on the request.
