<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion adaptor, a medical system and a communication method which convert an interface and a protocol of each medical instrument into those of a central control apparatus and carry out an efficient communication between the central control apparatus and the medical instruments connected thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The conversion adaptor 70 connects medical instruments and a control apparatus controlling the medical instruments and carries out the efficient communication between the control apparatus and the medical instruments having different protocols and transmission speed by working as a virtual control apparatus and medical instrument.
