PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a defect-free printing result by previewing device functions and print specifications and to concurrently provide preview of double-sided faces when double-sided printing is specified.

SOLUTION: Display is performed by generation of data which allows preview that reflects consideration of device information on the basis of the device information and document data. Data are generated for perspective-reverse-face preview when page-specification information is set for double-sided faces.
