PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress consumption power of an access point further when there is no operating terminal in a service area in charge of the access point, and make malfunction not to occur in power save control. SOLUTION: When the terminal 14 is not connected to a wireless LAN, all functions of a first and a second wireless LAN devices 10, 12 and a second wireless device 20 stop (a power supply off-state or a power saving mode). A function of a first wireless device 18 operates, and a narrow band beacon is transmitted from the first wireless device in a constant interval. Further, the second wireless device turns on if there is a network connection request from the terminal 14, the first wireless device turns on the second wireless LAN device if it confirms that the second wireless device turns on, and the second wireless LAN device turns on by turning on of the first wireless LAN device. By the method, network communication by the wireless LAN between the second wireless LAN device and the first wireless LAN device starts, and the terminal can communicate with a wire LAN network through the wireless LAN.
