PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving work efficiency of wiring work by miniaturizing an indoor unit. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, the indoor unit 1 is electrically connected to an outdoor unit by external wiring 7. It is provided with an electrical equipment box 5 detachably attached to the indoor unit 1 and having a first mounting face 5a for mounting a power supply cord 6; a power supply cord terminal plate 14 attached to the electrical equipment box 5 and connecting the power supply cord 6; an external wiring terminal plate 16 arranged above the power supply cord terminal plate 14, attached to the electrical equipment box 5 and connecting the external wiring 7; a power supply cord holding member 2 having a first pressing part 2a holding the power supply cord 6 and a second mounting face 2f for mounting the external wiring 7; and an external wiring holding member 4 having a second pressing part 4a holding the external wiring 7. The power supply cord 6 is held and clamped between the first mounting face 5a and the first pressing part 2a, and the external wiring 7 is held and clamped between the second mounting face 2f and the second pressing part 4a.
