PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusing plate for a direct-type backlight made of synthetic resin free from bending even with lessened thickness, free from luminance unevenness, and without deterioration of workability at mounting on a backlight. SOLUTION: The diffusing plate for a direct-type backlight made of synthetic resin is made of a resin composition with transparent fine particles mixed to synthetic resin, with a thickness of 0.1 to 1.5 mm, with at least one side in a folded shape.
