PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering control device capable of shortening the time required to adjust the quantity of additional torque. SOLUTION: The electric power steering control device is provided with a motor 1 for generating auxiliary torque for assisting the steering torque by a vehicle driver, a steering torque detecting unit 2 for detecting the steering torque, a car speed detecting unit 3 for detecting car speed, an additional command torque receiving section 4 for receiving the additional command torque input from an external device, a steering auxiliary torque computing section 5 for computing steering auxiliary torque for assisting the steering torque, a target auxiliary torque computing section 6 for computing target auxiliary torque of the motor 1 by adding the steering auxiliary torque and the additional command torque together, and a motor driving section 7 for driving the motor 1 based on the target auxiliary torque. The steering auxiliary torque computing section 5 computes the steering auxiliary torque by computing an addition value of the steering torque and the additional command torque, and multiplying the addition value by a gain corresponding to the car speed.
