PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including an image forming revision means for interrupting an operation related to present image forming on the occurrence of a full memory capacity and revising the present image forming operation into another image forming operation and a notice means for noticing a user about the image forming revision means, and to provide an image forming method, a program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the image forming revision means for interrupting an operation related to present image forming on the occurrence of a full memory capacity and revising the present image forming operation into another image forming operation wherein the operating efficiency of the memory is enhanced and the notice means for noticing the user about the image forming revision.
