PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acess an access object apparatus accommodated in even another exchange different from an exchange accommodating the access source telephone set similarly to the case as if the access object apparatus to be accommodated in the same exchange in an inter-station connection network system wherein a plurality of exchanges are interconnected via a network. SOLUTION: When the access source telephone set designates an identifier, the exchange accommodating the telephone set executes searching processing of searching a telephone number of the access object apparatus from a storage device of the exchange, and when the exchange cannot search the telephone number, other exchanges in the inter-station connection network system execute the searching processing. Further, the other exchanges execute discrimination processing of discriminating whether or not the other exchanges accommodate the telephone number, the other exchange for discriminating the accommodation of the telephone number informs the telephone set about the telephone number, and accordingly the telephone set dials the telephone number to access the access object apparatus.
