PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute, for example, highly accurate diversity processing in an OFDM receiver which processes a received OFDM signal including a pilot signal. SOLUTION: Signal detection means 4a, 4b detect the pilot signal from the received signal. Averaging means 5a, 5b temporally average the pilot signal. Processing means 3a, 3b, 6a, 6b, 9, 10a, 10b, 11, and 12 process the received signal on the basis of the averaged result. Difference detection means 7a, 7b detect a temporal difference of the pilot signal. Timing detection means 7a, 7b detect timing having a larger absolute value of the difference.
