PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide charged particles for forming circuits and a manufacturing method thereof which are suitable for forming circuit patterns on a glass substrate having no resistance for a high-temperature heat treatment, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the glass substrate having the circuit patterns by using a xerography method. SOLUTION: Each of the charged particles 10 has a conductive metal particle 11, glass particles 12 fastened to the surface of the conductive metal particle 11, and a resin coating layer 14 formed on the periphery more outside than the glass particles 12. The glass particle 12 is made of a glass having a glass transition point not lower than 350°C and lower than 640°C. The charged particles 10 are printed on a glass substrate by a xerography method, and are subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature higher than the softening point of the glass particle 12 and lower than the softening point of the glass substrate.
