PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting means of a joint, in which a pulling force by pulling members are surely transmitted to a socket and a spigot in a tube axis direction so as to relatively pull the holes, regardless of shape of the expanded part. SOLUTION: The connecting means is constituted of: a spigot fixed member 16 fixed to an outer face of the spigot 12 along a circumferential direction; and the pulling members 17, whose one end sides have hooks 17a hooked to an expanded part 5a of the socket 5 and other end sides are engaged with the spigot fixed member 16, and which relatively pull the socket 5 and the spigot 12 in the tube axis direction C. Hook parts 17a are locked to an expanded part 5a, through a locking member 20 circumferentially disposed to an outer face of the socket 5 so as to be abutted with the expanded part 5a.
