A rocker bearing (4) fits on a lever's end. A cable pull link is contained between an operating lever (3) and a closing element for a luggage boot lock. Operating the lever from an inactive to a functional position and corresponding forced movement in the cable pull (9) shift the closing element from a locking to an unlocking position.
