<p>The use of a composite material (CM) comprising (A) ligno-cellulose fibres and (B) thermoplastic material for internal and/or external and/or functional window components, involves treating the fibres (A) with an aqueous composition containing an organopolysiloxane system comprising at least one water-soluble aminoalkyl-trialkoxysilane and at least one water-insoluble alkyl-trialkoxy-silane.
