<p>The switch has a transconductance amplifier (36) controlling transmission function. A temperature sensor determines temperature of an oscillator amplifier (16), where a signal derived from an output signal of the sensor serves as a control signal for the amplifier (36). The amplifier (16) is controlled by the amplifier (36) based on the temperature such that temperature-associated variations of oscillator properties are compensated. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a proximity switch.</p> |
