<p>The fitting for a sliding leaf of a door, window or suchlike, with a housing and two fastening components (9,10) located on opposite sides of the housing, has at least one of the fastening components constructed as a gripping element (39) which is manually operable from the rear side (4) of the fitting and which is movable into a locked position or unlocked position. The gripping element is at least one screw (20), especially a single screw which may be a grub screw. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a system of fittings with a fitting which is especially a gripping fitting; and (2) a sliding leaf of a door, window or suchlike.</p> |
