<p>A container for a product such as potato crisps consists of two or more packets inside each other 12,16, each container or packet 12,16 being of a biodegradable polymeric material, and at least two of the containers or packets 12,16 have different permeability properties. For example a packet 12 formed from a thermoplastic starch film may be enclosed within a packet 16 formed from a poly lactic acid film. The container 12 preferably provides a barrier to oxygen while the container 16 preferably provides a barrier to moisture.</p> |
