The wheel (100), especially an impeller or transporting wheel for the feed of flat products, has the two edge regions (101), which in an encompassing manner interconnect the running surface (11) and side wall surfaces of each wheel, formed with a bevel or in curved form so that the side wall surfaces of each wheel which abut with the running surface are at an angle of more than 90 degrees to each other in the edge regions. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a rolling component with at least two wheels on a shaft (30); and (2) a corrugated cardboard manufacturing plant with at least one of the aforesaid wheels.
