The invention relates to agriculture and can be used for treating seed prior to sowing with the aim of activating and disinfecting a seed material andraising the yield of farm crops. A method provides for exposure on the seed by gas mixture with an ozone concentration of 0.1-10 g/m3, in which, according to the invention, the seed is subjected to the effect of a gas mixture with an ozone rate of 0.1-10 g per tonne of the seed, then the seed is kept in atmospheric conditions in the course of 1-15 days, after which it is treated with a fungicide or an insectofungicide with a rate exceeding 0.1 of a norm.
