The method comprises assaying PGE2 and PGF2? prostaglandins as well as MCP-1 and MIP-1? chemokins in the serum of a pregnant women. The risk of the intrauterine infection of the fetus (F) is calculated according to the formula: F=(MCP-1 - MIP-1?)/(PGE2 - PGF2?).
