UNIT FOR CONNECTION OF CONVEYOR BELT AND DRIVE BELTS

A unit for connection of ends of conveyor belt and drive belts has mechanical hinge arranged as plate U-shaped connector. The plate U-shaped connectorhas pivot hinges for its connection to neighboring similar plate U-shaped connector by means of flexible rod, and has upper and lower straps. The straps surrounds ends of conveyor belt being connected and are fixed to each end with set of ?-shaped cramps. Crossbars of ?-shaped cramps are inclined to side surfaces of the strap of plate U-shaped connector. Angle of deflection of crossbar of ?-shaped cramps from axis of hinge is determined by specified dependence. The invention provides decrease of comb-out of weft of conveyor belt, this results in increase of reliability of joint of the ends of conveyor band.
