<p>The present invention provides for a vertical band saw frame assembly comprising a support column having a top and a bottom, the support column having a lower band wheel attached thereto. The band saw frame further provides for a tilt plate havin g a plurality of apertures attached to the top of the support column and a mounting plate. Th e tilt plate provides a mounting platform for the upper band wheel, blade tensioning assembly, bla de guide, and blade break sensor. In a preferred embodiment, the tilt plate is attachable to the mounting plate in two positions, a first position in vertical alignment with the lower band wheel and a second position in which the upper band wheel further from the support column and at an angle t o the first position to create a canted cutting blade angle.</p> |
