[Also in Division A3] A tubular adhesive tape 10 has a coating of pressure sensitive adhesive on its exterior surface only. The tape may be made by folding a strip of adhesive tape e.g. having a backing of paper, into a tube, lapping the edges one over the other so that they adhere to each other and then flattening the tube. Alternatively the tape may be made by extruding a thin walled plastic tube and spray coating the exterior surface with adhesive. The tape may be rolled into a coil with a liner 16. The tubular adhesive tape is suitable for temporarily attaching insoles to lasts. |
