A system and a method for providing an automatic international phone call origination service are provided to allow a user to originate a call to a person in a home country from a foreign country without having to input an international call connection number and a destination country number. An address list uploading program is downloaded from a download server to the first mobile terminal(S610). The downloaded address list uploading program is executed to upload an address list of the first mobile terminal to an address list server(S620). An address list downloading program is downloaded from the download server to the second mobile terminal(S630). The downloaded address list downloading program is executed to download an address list uploaded to the address list server to the second mobile terminal(S640). An automatic international call originating program is downloaded from the download server to the second mobile terminal(S650).
