A water purification system which can effectively remove sludge deposited under the water of a closed water zone over a wider area of the closed water zone, prevents sludge or contaminants from being deposited on the pond bottom or dead water zone, prevents clogging or breakdown of sprayers, and prevents the generation of turbid water due to spraying of contaminated water is provided. In a water purification system comprising: a sludge suction devices(300) installed on water suction ports on the bottom of a pond to suck in contaminated water by driving force of a pump; a sludge filtering equipment(400) filtering the water sucked by the sludge suction devices; a suction pipe(20) sending the water sucked by the sludge suction devices to the sludge filtering equipment; and a circulation pipe(40) discharging water purified by the sludge filtering equipment to the pond, the water purification system further comprises water jet units(500) which are installed on the bottom of the pond between the sludge suction devices, receive a portion of the water purified by the sludge filtering equipment, and spray the received water.
