A monitoring system and a method for controlling thereof are provided to improve accuracy of transferring and yield rate of the communication by repeatedly transferring a command according to the response signal and repeatedly checking the response signal of the command. In a remote monitoring system composed of an electric appliance and a monitoring module, a method for controlling the monitoring system comprises the steps: transferring a command from the monitoring module to a washing machine and a dryer(S101); and controlling the communication for re-transferring the transferred command and for improving the number of packet according to the response signal for the transferred command(S102,S103,S104,S105). |
